Terms & Conditions
Your Booking
1.1 You must ensure you check your booking confirmation carefully and confirm the details are correct or let us know of any errors to be amended. Shropshire Class Travel cannot be held responsible for delays or additional costs for your failure to give us the correct details.
1.2 We are happy to advise on travel time to destinations, however, it is your responsibility to ensure you allow for check in times at the airport as advised by the airline as well as traffic conditions. Shropshire Class Travel cannot be held responsible for delays.
1.3 You must ensure you book a vehicle large enough to carry all passengers and luggage. Children of any age are classed as one passenger. Due to licensing requirements, all luggage must be carried in the boot space of the vehicle.
1.4 If any changes are to be made to your booking, please let us know ASAP. If you have a change in flight, please also make us aware if there is a change in airport and/or terminal. It is your responsibility to make sure we have all of the correct details. Any additional charges that come from incorrect information or not updating us with the correct information, will be payable by you.
Payment and Cancellations
2.1 Standard airport pick up with hold luggage – Your driver will arrive at the airport approximately 40 minutes after your flight has landed. Your driver will contact you to let you know they have arrived. You will have a further 20 minutes of waiting time included in the fare you have paid. Your fare is inclusive of parking charges at the airport.
2.2 Standard with hand luggage only – Your driver will arrive at the airport approximately 20 minutes after your flight has landed. Your driver will contact you to let you know they have arrived. You will have a further 20 minutes of waiting time included in the fare you have paid. Your fare is inclusive of parking charges at the airport.
2.3 Any additional waiting time will be billed after your journey from the office at a rate of 30p per minute (£18 per hour).
2.4 Our Meet and Greet service is charged at £18 – this is where the driver will be waiting in arrivals for you holding a sign/device showing your name. You will need to pay for parking at the airport when you exit.
2.5 Meet and Greet with hold luggage – Your driver will enter the car park 30 minutes after the flight has landed. You will have a further 1 hour of waiting included from then.
2.6 Meet and Greet with hand luggage – Your driver will arrive 10 minutes after the flight has landed. You will have a further 1 hour of waiting included from then.
2.7 When picking up from a non-airport/port address, prolonged periods of waiting (ie. Over 10 minutes) will be an additional charge, charged at 30p per minute.
2.8 All quotes given are based on the information that you provide to us and are valid for 30 days. The quote is subject to change, should an alternative vehicle be required or if the pick up or destination is changed.
2.9 We usually take payments a week prior to your transfer. If you cancel your booking once you have paid, you are able to have a refund minus an admin fee of 10% of the booking or £10 (whichever is lowest), providing we have 12 hours’ notice.
2.10 If we have less than 12 hours’ notice but your driver has not set off, then we can issue a 50% refund.
2.11 If you cancel your journey once the driver has set off to collect you, then no refund can be issued.
2.12 All claims for refund should be made within 14 days.
2.13 All bookings must be prepaid (we usually ask for 24 hours prior to your pickup). If the booking is not prepaid, then no vehicle will be dispatched.
Miscellaneous
3.1 All data stored by Shropshire Class Travel is done so in accordance with GDPR Guidance and under The Data Protection Act 2018.
3.2 Shropshire Class Travel may change these Terms and Conditions at any time and will be updated on our website.
3.3 We reserve the right to terminate a booking if the driver or vehicle become at risk. We do not tolerate any violence or abuse towards our staff and driver partners. If a booking is terminated on these grounds – no refunds will be given.
3.4 We reserve the right to cancel bookings in instances of extreme weather, fuel shortage or declared national emergency.
